I'm not up to speed on this "bill," but a bill is not a law; law's are overturned, not bills.

So what am I overlooking?

How can the "US Government" overturn a bill?

Or law?

Thought only a Federal court decision could do that, or eventually SCOTUS.

But--the US Government?
