Interesting ... so tell us, Wise Latina, if the Runamok Tribe decides to open a nation-wide chain of strip clubs, they’re judgement-proof?

Interesting break from ideological lines.

Sotomayor and Kagan are on the side of the "repressed minority" along with Beyer. Roberts is pro-corporation, pro-business.

Michigan could achieve its desired result by just taxing all gambling income at 90% with no offsetting deductions for gamblilng losses.

"... tribal sovereign immunity."

The term "tribal sovereign immunity" seems to be based on inconsistent federal government laws that are a consequence of state apathy towards the issue.

Tribal sovereignty in the United States
In other words, the states have forgotten that they they have absolute control over what the Constitution says which gives the corrupt feds a foothold for mischief concerning the issue.

With the Casinos, and tax free cigarettes etc...

This is just a good example of ‘unintended consequences’.

“We” were ok with the Indians on Reservations, give them booze to keep in line etc etc.

Some “S/A” said ... Well the least we can do is educate them.
Finally some of them made it through and got themselves into Law School and then people sat down and started reading what ‘they’ had been promised etc many moons ago.

Then the ‘schiesters’ that had been ‘wise to the White Mans Ways’ figured out that if ‘reversed’ the ‘Black reasoning’ - 1 ‘drop’ of black blood makes one Black.

Now the Schiesters found out that 1/32nd CLAIMED Indian Blood ‘made’ them full fledged Indians.

Now - for the most part - Some pols and Faux Indians are rolling in dough from the Casinos etc and WE are being forced to raise the ‘Quality of Life’ for the typical Reservation citizen - NOT the beaucoup bucks the Casinos are attracting.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR.

Another 5-4 from America’s robed mullahs, eh? My, what drama! No matter how you reconfigure these ‘rats, they’re usually coming down on the side of the collectives/FEDS instead of the states/individuals.

TRENDING TOWARD TOTALITARIANISM.

See something, say something ALERT!
