“I wish I were a foot taller,so I’d be at my correct weight.”
How does she justify that?

If the draft ever returns, they should draft all politicians and their families and put them in the front line.

I wish I were a foot taller,so Id be at my correct weight. How does she justify that?
After reading that a half dozen times it looks that is the author's wish (whose picture makes it look like she could lose a few pounds) and not the 5'3" woman who wants to be a Marine officer. Someone who was 5'3" with the proper weight of someone 6'3" would not be described as "petite".

I wish I were a foot taller,so Id be at my correct weight. How does she justify that?Maybe she's solid and extremely fit; I would expect so if she's a Marine. Bottom line: if she can meet the standard, she gets the job. But no allowances against the standard.
