This was about mental illness, not guns.

even with the media egging on these killers, mass shootings are extremely rare , less than 100 die in mass shootings per year in the USA( this is in a country of 300 million people where millions die each year).
The news media causes these shooters/psychos to seek fame .that’s why they do the “mass shootings”. the news media does it on purpose .their goal is to take away our gun rights so that we can’t defend ourselves against the government . even with the media egging on these killers, mass murders are extremely rare , less than 100 die in mass shootings per year in the USA. compare to 40,000 suicides, 40,000 deaths by car accidents per year in the USA. the media cherry picks 1 out a trillion quadrillion events and makes that news to control us

No one was surprised that there was a mass shooting the other day in California. After all, this is the United States of America, the mass-shooting capital of the world. Yeah, Chechnya is such a place of comity by comparison.

The father of one of the teenagers shot in this rampage made a very emotional appeal for Congress to act on gun control legislation and specifically mentioned their failure to act after the Newton Ct. shootings.

Oh great! Another run on guns and ammo is coming.
Every time they mention gun control, we all go out and buy more. Will the dems never learn?

Just note the source—another buffoon who knows nothing about anything except for his agenda, his Weltanschauung, and his paycheck. They are all wrong, but he appreciates his money. Silly, silly fools.

and not one of the solutions offered would have stopped this kid from getting a gun legally.
As I understand it, (could be wrong) he was in compliance with all of the federal, state and local laws.
The mental health professionals have more of a hand in this than the NRA

When the perp was knifing people to death, armed citizens could have easily suppressed the attacks.

Maybe we ought to have background criminal checks on all senators and congressmen when they first run for office and also when they seek re-election. Of course we’d have a pretty empty house and senate chambers if we did that.

Consider the source, folks. Greg Sargent is a staff cheerleader at the Washington ComPost, and he's had his kneepads on for Obamacare and every other far-left brain dropping Zero's pResidency has thrown out there since Day One. To him, any dissent is a form of political medievalism. The actions of that bizarre little gnome in California gave them all a reason to reach for their dog-eared Manifesto and lecture us on the evils of (fill in the blank).

They should start by banning the weapons first used in this crime and those were not GUNS.
