You are wrong. If police are allowed to administer “street justice” to mouthy teens in handcuffs with impunity then next they you know they’ll be doing forced colonoscopies for traffic violations.

Oh wait, that’s already happening.

Unreasonable use of force is unreasonable use of force even if the victim is a rotten little puke.

There was a time when police knew when to use force and when not to. Unfortunately, today leaving that punk alone would have made no difference whatever to the epidemic of police thuggery against law abiding citizens or their increasing disregard for the 4th Amendment. If it would, you might have a point. But it doesn’t, so you don’t.
