MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) Three people were killed and a fourth person was wounded in a shooting at an oceanfront motel in Myrtle Beach, one of South Carolina's most popular tourist destinations.
The shootings took place around 11 p.m. Saturday in front of crowds of tourists at the Bermuda Sands Motel along the beach's new boardwalk, Myrtle Beach Police Capt. David Knipes said.

Black Bike Week 2014 in Myrtle beach right now.
Must just be a coinky-dink, right?
No amount of money would get me near there during their ‘thing’.
The shooting was at 11:00 and they have officers working round the clock on it? How does that work?
Bike Week at MB is actually pretty peaceful.
(Who's to say the Russkies are the only ones with Deep Cover in this country?)
I see-it was a fat white guy!
Harley bike week was last week and it was peaceful. This week is Black bikers week. Not so much.
Two more shot Sunday night. http://www.wmbfnews.com/story/25609974/shooting-re
I was just reading about how businesses that want to remain closed during Bike Week are not allowed or they are fined. Also read that the residents hate Bike Week because the whole area, including neighborhoods, get trashed. I also read the city has every available cop working. You couldn’t pay me to be in Myrtle Beach during Bike Week.
The local neurosurgeon takes this week off every year. Head trauma has to go to Columbia or Wilmington NC.
The death count rivals the Black Family day at the National Zoo and Black Family Reunion on the DC mall and Black College week in Florida.. I wonder if one could draw a logical conclusion and make a connection to these events?
They need to have an Ebonics translation for most of those postings.
Yep.
“BLACK BIKE WEEK”? That’s racist!
The rumble of the many Harlies is constant, day and night. A lot of locals set up chairs by the road to watch all the bikers. They will sit there for hours with their kids watching the show.
I've not seen anything trashed. A buddy of mine goes to the Hell's Angels camp to witness and he says it is neat and orderly.
Last year I caught a big ole biker. He lost his balance going up steep stairs to the pier. He may or may not have been drunk. I just said, "I got you, friend." He asked if I was a biker and I said I was not. We talked a while and I told him I'm a Christian. We had a little discussion about that and about motorcycles.
This year we missed Bike Week. The only downside to Bike Week is the traffic. I think a lot of bikers cruise a lot, showing off their rides.
I'm not a biker. My son would give his eye teeth for me to get a Kawasaki Ninja (or anything but a Harley). I have told him the last time I drove a motorcycle was in the 60's. I drove my brother's bike through a barbed wire fence.
The boardwalk might be new but the hotel sure isn’t. The boardwalk went in where the old Pavilion once was if I’m not mistaken, and the surrounding hotels, motels really, were on the seedy side. I gave up on Myrtle Beach in the nineties. Sitting in traffic is not my idea of a vacation.
There is more than one Bike Week.
