I read someplace June, but that seems a little soon to me.
Imagine Chris with a wig, and they bear a striking resemblance... :):)
Or maybe this is simply ranging fire, with the heavy stuff (names, sworn statements) all cocked and ready to dump right in the middle of Prime Time
Like that analogy.... Posted a similar one on another thread “ warning shot now, kill shot later”
Indeed, Mexico, as you say, should be one of the jewels of the civilized world instead of the abusive socialist govt whose citizens are invading the United States. The proponents of amnesty say we should accept this invasion because the Mexicans must escape their untenable situation of poverty and corruption and lack of opportunity to improve their standard of living.
I keep thinking that I must be missing something basic in my understanding of the situation as it seems to me the answer to both sides is for the US to invade Mexico, straighten out their socialist govt and help Mexico to create their own USA equivalent.
The US has gone around the world to help abused inhabitants of communist, socialist, freedom crushing governments. We have a situation on our own borders whose people risk life and limb, as did the Cubans under communist Castro, to gain the advantages of capitalist America. Their corruption runs without severe measures by our govt to secure our borders which enables further corruption of our own people.
Worse yet is the tendency for those escapees from Mexico, and other countries as well, to show their appreciation for the blessings of being on American soil by voting for the politicians who are bent on installing a Mexican type govt on this country.
The problem isn't Conservatives so much as it is dyed in he wool Republicans. They have been brained washed by the party for decades that “you have to vote for candidate X or we will lost the Senate/House/Presidency to the Democrats!”
I would of thought that myth was completely nuked by the results of 2012. The GOP Establishment ran their perfect dream candidate and LOST to the most corrupt incompetent President with the worst economic record in over 100 years! That what happened in GA. Rather then sending another Cruz/Lee/Paul to the Senate, we are going to send another McConnell/Bohner mindless party drone because the GOP Establishment in GA has terrified itself about the 38% of the vote Michell Nunn is going to get in Nov. If they cannot even manage to elect a solid Conservative in GA the GOP may as well close it's doors now.
Talk is cheap, isn't it? Reminds me of a conversation I just read (in Shelby Foote's 3-volume "narrative" on the Civil War). A few years after the war, former Confederate General, Joseph Johnston was seated in a train, where he overheard some young blowhard's complaining about the South's surrender to the North, and asserting that HE (the blowhard) would never have surrendered. General Johnson, interested of course, turned and asked the blowhard which unit he fought with in the war. The blowhard replied to the effect that "circumstances prevented me from participating," at which time General Johnson invented a marvelous quote, which is sooo apt, todey:
"Invincible in talk; invisible in war."
While Tokyo Rose may have been a victim - Let us look at the Prosecutor’s angle
Ramesh Ponnuru is about to serve 12-18 month for Campaign finance infringement. In the U.S.A. we have TOO MANY LAWs, and any prosecutor can choose to prosecute or not based on their own initiative.
As a country we look more and more like the U.S.S.R. with the exception that we still have a relatively motivated and wealthy middle class.
Prosecutors come and go. I was born in Eastern Europe, a portion of the work FDR gave to Stalin.
“And then faced unjust prosecution by our govt because they wanted a scapegoat.”
So FDR was an unjust prosecutor because he needed Stalin to do something. Should I demand reparations ??
This is life, some are born with a handicap some are born with a silver spoon.
I sat and watched Obama in Afghanistan.
It was all staged so obviously.
Very convenient to fight this VA scandal....special trip and speech in front of the troops.
But I am a skeptic.
Thanks Sun House for this and the other quote and link.
I just never saw definitively that there was a “go” order. The mush cited from O is loose enough to cut either way, like most if his drivel. He could spin it to mean he did, or that he did not, order a counterattack, depending on the outcome.
Similar to the Osama Bin Laden raid, he had deniability, he failed to give the “go” order several times, and probably on several different dates and occasions, it is said that Hillary actually said “go”, after ValJar said “no” a number of time.
The smarmy little Ba$turd always “decides” things like that. Not an ounce of courage or “do right” in his scrawny body.
It's easy to get active as well. Doesn't have to be that way. There are Republican clubs everywhere in the country and each county has an executive committee easy to have a voice if you really care to.
If done properly no rino in the country is safe. Problem is we keep ignoring the basics of taking out anyone on either side of the aisle.
She was good I heard her today.
Of course this year they totally screwed up with screw up after screw up. But you can be sure they have plans around each and every screw up. They out maneuver us 24/7 we never catch on to who they are.
Truth is buddy if the left couldn’t lie they could not talk.
One of the many problems with govt. that is too dam big.
