It’s true. Communist countries were famous for it.
Even in our country there have been abuses, not just the government, but agendized others, for example, spouses or relatives who want control of assets.
That being said, there has to be a better way of doing this than the way were doing it. Here in Snohomish Co. in Feb. we had an awful case of a 16 year old who murdered his guardian(an old girlfriend of his drug-addicted father who had been caring for him since infancy). There had been warnings and signs that the kid was dangerous.
Well, that explains why the sorority girls rejected him. #WomenLoveBadBoys

If only those practicing psychiatry/psychology passed on those wise words to their patients - rather than the poison they're currently peddling (and that's not limited to prescriptions).

I hadn’t thought about that, but you are right.
Do tell. I’ve certainly lived with people who needed it, including one guy who had garlic cloves up all over in his room because if his Satanic possession problems. (I think he had demons confused with vampires) this was the only time I was afraid to go home at night w/o a male escort. Fortunately the guy was evicted soon. I should have had a gun.
