Among the irredentist faddists, let us not forget, were the Zionists. Back in 1890s Vienna, the Jews were just one more bunch among the nationalist Poles, Hungarians, Czechs, Slovenes, Rumanians, Serbs.
A heck of a lot came out of the 19th century Italian business.
