Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki cannot get a handle on the recent scandalous treatment of veterans in VA hospitals, where more than 40 sick men were allowed to die without proper follow-up treatment. A cover-up allegedly followed. When the Walter Reed Army Medical Center scandal broke under the George W. Bush administration, heads rolled. So far, Shinseki seems immune from similar accountability.
Almost nothing that former Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius promised before, during or after the implementation of the Affordable Care Act came true. She was also cited by the U.S. Office of Special Counsel for violating the Hatch Act, as she improperly campaigned for Obama's re-election while serving as a Cabinet secretary.
IRS official Lois Lerner used the agency to go after groups deemed too conservative. She invoked the Fifth Amendment to avoid telling Congress the whole truth.
Susan Rice, former U.N. ambassador and now national security adviser, deceived the public on five TV appearances about the Benghazi catastrophe. She insisted that the deaths of four Americans were due to a riot induced by a reactionary video maker -- even though she had access to intelligence fingering al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorists as the culprits who planned the attack on the anniversary of 9/11.
Rice recently blamed Obama foreign policy failures on domestic political polarization. But that is best described as the give and take of democracy and was once thought to be our foreign policy strength.
Rice also knows little history. In 2007, in the midst of the surge, when Americans were fighting for their lives to stabilize Iraq, then-Sen. Hillary Clinton implied that the commanding general in Iraq, Gen. David Petraeus, was a veritable liar. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid agreed and declared that the war was already lost...

Well, then, what in hell are we waiting for?
Let us get on with the IMPEACHING!
Thanks, Kristinn. VDH is always a great read!
In scores of comments on FR, if not hundreds, I’ve defended Obama one time and that was for droning jihadis.
I guess this will be kind of a second time. No one, including God himself, can do anything with the VA until the power of Unions is busted! Unions control the VA, not Obama, not Congress, not anybody............But the Unions!
Firing Shinseki will just give the bastard democrats cover and nothing will change.
What I can criticize zero in advance for is he won’t name a Special Prosecutor. In this case, 40 vets died, as in DEAD!
Being complicit in causing someone’s death is a crime. So, this whole affair is waaaaaaayyyyyyy past just getting fired! Time for handcuffs and perp walks.
Well, as the late Senator Roman Hruska, R-NE, might have said, “the incompetent need a little representation too!”
Course, Obama outing a CIA chief in America-hating Afghanistan is certainly a biggie. But this right here takes the cake for presidential incompetence.
Boobamba gave this boob ntl security clearance.
FEEL SAFER YET? Boobamba's campaign van driver attends
WH Situation Room crisis meetings. Dude Tommy Vietor
submitted his resume to Hillary for Secretary of state dude.

Course, Hillary's all girl State Dept is right up there when talking
incompetence. Musta been having a bad hair day when the girls
couldn't name even ONE of Hillary's accomplishments.

Democrats Privately Calling Obama 'Detached,' 'Flat Footed,' 'Incompetent'
Weekly Standard / Daniel Halpern / Posted by Sub-Driver
CNN's John King reports that Democrats are privately calling President Obama "detached," "flat footed," and "incompetent." "Forget for a moment that Republican outrage," said King on his CNN show this morning. "More and more Democrats in key 2014 races are calling for the president to get a spine, they say, and fire his Veterans Affairs secretary. And what more and more Democrats are saying privately is scathing, calling the president and his team detached, flat footed, even incompetent.
"Maggie Haberman," said King turning to a panelist, "that's what strikes me, what democrats are saying privately in the wakes of the healthcare.gov problems, they see a president who doesn't want to take command, doesn't want to act fast. Raising the competence question. Some Democrats, who believe in government, [are saying] this White House doesn't appear to have its hand on the lever."
Haberman of Politico agreed, cited more examples, and added: "All of this adds up to somebody who just doesn't seem at all involved."
It's so annoying that he has to make time so that he, Moocher, and Valerie can pore over their offshore accounts---totaling up his holdings.
================================
BTW, Valerie is billed as Obama's "Senior Deputy Advisor"-----in Chicago gangland parlance, that means "wire transfer artist."
Mmmmmmm....I just can't wait til Moocher announces she's running for office.....and that she's s-o-o-o-o popular, she raised $500,000 in just two hours (/sarc).
