I don’t understand why they don’t just let him die. What would it matter if he died as what he would think of as a martyr?

U.S. District Judge Gladys Kessler said the military must be allowed to carry out force feeding in the case of Abu Wael Dhiab because of the very real probability that Mr. Dhiab will die. yes--i agree... and i am surprised that this Bill Clinton-appointed judge does not allow Mr. Dhiab to continue as he wishes... surely she believes in the freedom of "dying with dignity..." what is it to her if he chooses to die?
