I haven't heard anything new but Putin is not backing down on his claims.

“If we hadn’t done this [in Crimea], we would have had more tragedies than those which we now see in some Ukrainian cities, for example, in Odessa, where unarmed people have been burned alive: Fifty people have been burned, another 50 went missing. Where are they? They are killed, too,” Putin said at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum.

However, according to Bolotov attacks will suit National Guard because then can blame on terrorists.

Incidently, this is from the man, self-proclaimed leader of Luhansk Republic, managed over this week to cross the border with Russia and come back to Ukraine this week, and had been arrested may 17 by border guards issued by a Luhansk court!!!

However realistically: why would Kiev want attacks to disrupt elections, if just getting a legitimate president is the main objective today?
