How did they make the money? In several ways.
I don’t think there is one angle for squeezing, scamming , grifting government or political payola that the Clintons don’t take advantage of.
In fact, I think they have even invented quite a few new angles on government graft and corruption.
The Clintons are not universally loved in the Democrat world and by politicians around the world in general in spite of their graft and corruption, they are loved BECAUSE of it.
Nobody is better at spreading the money around than Clintons have been, maybe ever. Bill and Hillary are the best providers the Democrats have ever had.
In the selfish and greedy world of politics the Clintons are considered great humanitarians because they spread their wealth of payola generously, both far and wide.
Everyone who is anyone owes the Clintons big time. Many are also joined at the hip to the Clintons by virtue of being co conspirators with the Clintons so if the Clintons hang, so do they.
Now that Hillary is out of a seat of power, the Clintons firm grasp on power is fading and the only thing propping up the Clinton pay for play graft and corruption operation is the hope that her becoming President is “inevitable”
The Clintons generosity allowed them to engage in and get away with all manner of criminal and unethical behavior
This highlights Obama’s fatal flaw. He is greedy, petty and cheap and is the ultimate user. While he has enriched his cronies to an amount never before matched, he is insular and only enriches his small circle of cronies.
His generosity does not even extend to members of Congress and so he has few friends and his base of co conspirators who will hang with him is not deep enough to ensure the execution of a successful stone wall and obstruction operation and to ensure any potential snitches obey omertà to the bitter end.
In the end this will be Obama’s downfall.
Could not agree more. Remember that last Tues, Chelsea's MIL went down to an ignominious defeat..... even with both Clintons' personal appearances, funders, ads and robo-calls.
Now my take is over-the-hill Hillary is tired and worn out---and very ill. She does not want the presidency as much as Bill does.
Bill's got unfinished monkey business WRT to his libido. But more pertinent is that Bill read Putin accumulated about $75 billion in office. Bill's $200-300 million makes him feel like a piker, so he wants back in to best Putin's stash.
