Well, I’m not keen on her word choice, but I’m going to cut Megan McCain some slack here. She defends Palin (a bit, anyway) in the clip, and she’s not entirely wrong about her dad’s chances. 2008 was a tough, tough year for Republicans, and after the financial meltdown, McCain’s chances went up in smoke.

I cut her some slack, too. Her father is a very unappealing candidate so anyone running with him might not have helped.

Meghan might have been right but for the wrong reasons.

The problem in 2008 was the same problem in 2012. Voter fraud.

Bill Clinton was right when he said Obama should have been carrying his bags, not running for President.
