Why shouldn’t they be in control of the country. We have ex-hippies and flower children running the country now. Especially the aging, hollow-eyed hippie from Haight-Ashbury herself, Nancy Pelosi.
We don’t have ex-hippies and flower children from the 60s running America today.
Hippies/flower children were not getting law degrees and PHDs, and building business careers and going to college, by definition they were dropping out, and seeking their own lives, not being yippies, and passionate members of the political world and government, and institutions, and difficult lifetime careers in the straight world.
