Palin had previously warned about the perils of socialized medicine and Obamacare before the law was enacted.
“Government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost,” Palin wrote in 2009 while predicting "death panels." "And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course.”
Politifact deemed Palin's remarks to be its "Lie of the year," and Palin was mocked years before liberals like Howard Dean, Paul Krugman, and some of President Barack Obama's former advisers – like Steven Rattner – finally conceded she was right
Palin said Wednesday that "Obama’s Democrat party must be defeated in the ballot box in November" so that America remains the strongest nation on earth. She posted a picture of Abraham Lincoln and referenced Lincoln's words about Americans having to guard their freedoms: "America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
Last week, Palin sounded the alarm about the willingness of Democrats to use Obamacare's failures to push the country toward a single-payer healthcare system.
"What happens next is the Left will subtly suggest moving America toward a single-payer system, which was their intention all along. Watch for this gradual, but driving, descent into statism," Palin warned. "So, are you still relying on Obamacare to help and not hurt you? On the Democrats' watch, health care in the hands of unaccountable bureaucrats proves Reagan’s adage that government is not the solution; government is the problem."

Yep. And even more - this is what Single Payer looks like. The proggies have been having wet dreams over Single Payer for decades, not for the care it offers, but for the power.
It seems that as a nation we have reached (and passed) the point where there are more takers than producers and more apathy than I can remember. You can count on this warning being disregarded as have all the others. What has happened to the average American? Mush for brains I guess.
Any we , civilians , can expect any difference in treatment ?

The Death Panels will actually be cheered by many as a financial fix for the massive SocSec and Medicare shortfalls.
That in itself will be very appealing for voters under 40. If there are any further complaints about granny’s early demise, the regime will send out some Groupons for student loan remission.

Build on the house majority. Take the senate. Impeach Obama/Holder. Repeal Obamacare. Take the presidency in 2016 and wipe out all traces of Obama. Appoint constitutional judges, roll back the welfare state. Restore constitutional government.
She’s been right about a lot of things and I can’t tell you how much I hate those who worked overtime to destroy her and her family. They all work for the communist Left who stole the last election and are hellbent on destroying this free country.
As things become clearer, and I’m more certain where the Left is headed (with Hillary in the wings), a revolution cannot be that far from happening in our future. Between the two forces that have occupied our government (communist Dems and GOPe suckers) the chances that we’ll be facing our own government in the streets, rather than the scum who are sucking this nation dry, makes this a bizzar situation.
Neither of these two groups are real big on freedom and liberty. They’ve got power on the mind- when they aren’t knocking-back a martini or blowing a joint.
Weren’t they just talking about the VA being a great example of how great single payer is?

Maybe I have no idea what I am thinking about, but maybe the rats and RINOs want people to have mush for brains, so they will march like sheep to the camps. Who knows for sure, but the politicians do not want an educated and active citizenry.
The VA officials had ultimate power over our Vets. They had the power of life, death, pain or pain relief.
Yeah, this is exactly what thuggish bureaucrats covet. It is terrifying.
IMHO, the VA should be eliminated and all our vets given vouchers to get insurance under one of the big formerly free insurance companies. But, what do I know?
