I was a little confused by the president's remarks today. At the same time he was saying that he's known about this problem for years and years and years and it goes back decades, far past into other people's presidencies, and yet we're five years into his presidency and the problem seems to be certainly not better, and perhaps even worse.

"Blame Bus" has worked for him so far. Why change now?

It is funny though. Carney said Obama just found out about it on the TV news. So Obama has to say, no, I knew about it way before that. At the next press briefing somebody will ask why Obama didn't do anything about it, and at the next press conference he'll have to say, hey, I just found out about it on the evening news just like the rest of you.
