Where do you suppose the environmental movement gets millions of dollars to buy endless armies of lobbyists and lawyers? It’s not from grandma who sends ten bucks because she saw a photo of a sad looking polar bear in a lefty magazine.
I’m sure the Tickells sincerely believe this investigative film is nothing important. O’Keefe exposed them as crass, unethical, America-hating leftists. But that’s not controversial. They, and everybody who knows them, already knew the two of them were crass, unethical, America-hating leftists. Of course they are? Isn’t everyone?
Because this involves a pack of RATs, “None (in the MSM) will dare call it treason”.
This is symptomatic of a larger problem, namely that legislators in the House and Senate are quite possibly on the Mideast payroll for their roles in opposing any form of enterprise that will make the US truly energy - and particularly oil - independent. Hence bans on drilling, exploration, Keystone, and the rapid seizure of open land by the federal government that then becomes unavailable to oil exploration.
In particular, the most vociferous opponents of any oil independence are suspect, which includes names like Boxer, Markey, all of California’s democrat delagation, and most of the same party in both houses.

Did you know the Sierra Club is a $5B company? They buy land from developers they bust out at fire sale prices and add it to their asset horde, among other things.
This is pretty damning, pretty huge stuff.
