Table 20 shows that murders by firearms by State has California (with some of the most bizarre & extreme gun control laws in the USA) as having fully the most murders (1879) of any state. California again shines as an example in leading in firearms related robberies in Table 21, as it also does in firearm related aggravated assaults. So much for gun control laws in the great state of California.
Table 6 Murders by Metropolitan Area (listing those in excess of 10 murders per 100,000 people) also shows where the real murders are taking place in this country. We don't have a firearms murder problem we have a Big metropolitan area drug/gang/poverty crime problem that results in murders.

Back pocket GOVT data to counter all the out of state anti gun nazis when the NV legislature takes up the anti gun push next session. Carson City ain’t that far from my house that I can’t make myself a pain in their asses. Plus I kinda know a couple of the legislators that’ll stand up for our rights. I’ve been gathering info since the last session since I now know what they’re gonna bring in.
