I’m not surprised; he hasn’t wavered in his support for life. Like George W. Bush, I think he is an imperfect but well-meaning man.

Christie won big despite his pro-life/pro family views...in a solid Democrat state---outspent by millionaire incumbent Jon Corzine.

Christie passed on his victorious MO to Republican leaders who are now religiously using the tactic......

.......which is, to give pro-life/ pro-family groups a tongue-lashing every now and then.

===================================================

BACKTORY Corzine bragged he had 20,000 paid union feet on the ground election day. And get this, the Obama WH was orchestrating the Corzine effort---signing off on strategy, Biden and Obama appeared in NJ several times for Corzine and made costly TV ads for him.

Obama was desperate for Corzine to get reelected. Obama pulled out all the stops to get Corzio reelected b/c the newly-elected president needed Jon to advance his agenda.....to no avail.

<><>Obama had his WH "geniuses" take full control of Corzine’s campaign.

<><>Obama campaigned in NJ three times, Biden was there twice.

<><>Obama pro-Corzio TV ads ran relentlessly on costly NY media.

<><>Obama put the power of the WH political machine behind Corzine.

The NY Times reported:

(a) every TV ad Corzine put on the air was being screened by Obama’s WH “geniuses.”

(b) Corzine’s aides gave the WH daily briefings.

(c) Obama’s pollsters took over for Corzine’s polling team, and,

(d) White House operatives were on the ground for internal strategy sessions.

(e) Obama sent NJ $17.2 billion "stimulus" which promptly disappeared.

(f) secret strategy sessions were held to suckup the latino vote;

(g) a Peruvian PAC endorsed Corzine.

(H) Corzio bragged he had 20,000 paid operatives (union members) on the ground election day, paid to get out the vote in heavily Democrat NJ.

Corzine (former Goldman-Sachs exec) lost handily. Corzine's NJ loss and VA win were the only two 2009 n'wide races held---and both elected Repubs.
