So things dont look so encouraging for Rubio. But he may not be seriously eyeing a White House run anyway: A high-ranking GOP party official who asked that his name be withheld told me on Monday that Jeb Bushs people have just met with Rubios people and a 2016 deal was struck. If Jeb runs for president then Rubio would drop outand Jeb is running, according to my well-placed source. (Alert the media!)
Rubio knows his race will be tough since 2016 is the first time he would face a traditional two-person Senate battle. (His 2010 election was a quirky three-way race.)

"Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, How was the play?"
Rubio...will have to move elsewhere to get another bite at the apple.Pun/suggested destination is intentional.
One and done in Florida.
Wasn’t West’s district boundaries redrawn by the Florida Republican legislature?
Rubio bugs me and if Jeb runs, it may as well be George, because that’s how the media will portray him as another George Bush. We will loose in a landslide, and embarrassingly huge landslide at that.
I voted for Jeb as Florida governor twice and for Rubio for U.S. Senate once.
Neither are any where near conservatives and I will NOT vote for either again for any position.
Real conservative or go fish.
I don’t know any statewide Democrat who could win against Rubio.
Rubio might face a primary challenge, but the bench in Florida for the Democrats is very, very thin. Maybe Debbie Blabber Mouth Schmuck, but she has her greedy eyes set on being Speaker of the House someday...
“Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, How was the play?”
No kidding...but it almost does seem that Rubio wants us to forget the way he gave cover to the other 12 Republicans that voted with him...like it never happened, and instead he’s “fighting the good fight”. Hopefully enough of us are smart enough to see through that.
Serious question, have they ACTUALLY voted on amnesty yet? Just talking about it is a totally different situation then actually voting for it.
Oh brilliant
That is a horrifying scenario and it may well turn out to be true. I am not optimistic about 2016, not with this nation's huge numbers of low-information voters.
If the Pubs put up Jeb, I too will stay at home. Actually, unless they put up Sarah or Ted, I'm staying at home. No others will do.
I wont be voting again for this phoney bastard
I have other reasons to vote down ticket. But I have NO problem writing in myself or voting for someone I can actually feel good about voting for in another party at the top of the ticket.
