Did they say she hit them? threatened them? I mean this standard of if people called there must have been something serious - who knows, but someone calling the police is a mighty low standard of “scandal”.

It doesn’t matter. Two guys, same charge, and unless you can prove they got together to screw her over by calling about the same thing five years or so apart, then there is enough smoke there to think there is a fire.

It’s not my standard, either. Doesn’t someone in the GOP sit down and say, “We think you’re the one. Now fill this out. We are going to be with you a while to help you fill it out. The first forms give us legal permission to tear your past apart looking for reasons why you won’t win should you run. We are about to invest a boatload of our donor’s money in you, and we need to do our due diligence.”

The D’s do it. Very well I might add. When the find something, and since being a whackadoodle isn’t a barrier to public office (adultery, communism, homosexuality, shady business dealings may keep you from a security clearance, but not from public office for democrats) they know how to leak it so that the damage is either minimal or non-existent. It helps that the entire 4th estate across all mediums is uniformly liberal.

Ailes proved there is money to be made in conservative media projects. Joel Surnow continues to prove that. That no conservative money goes into it is still a mystery to me.
