First lady Michelle Obama is encouraging students to monitor their older relatives, friends and co-workers for any racially insensitive comments they might make, and to challenge those comments whenever they’re made.
The first lady spoke on Friday to graduating high school students in Topeka, Kansas, and in remarks released over the weekend, Obama said students need to police family and friends because federal laws can only go so far in stopping racism.

if you are implying that the headline is misleading, i would respectfully suggest that you either read or reread MO’s remarks and you will find there is nothing inconsistent.
The nazis didn’t start out asking the kids to inform on their parents either. They encouraged the kids to take part in family conversations and the school counselors and staff would get the info from the kids.

I agree with her. It’s about time! If blacks would monitor hateful and racist comments every time someone in the hood begins talking ill of a white person, there would probably be a lot less of the knockout game going on.
That beast is telling kids their relatives are suspect by default. This is just the beginning, reporting comes next.

the headline is accurate. she told kids to verbally confront any racist remark they heard in their family.
that meets the criteria for “monitoring”.
People are already losing their jobs over private conversations overheard by others.
She needs to preach it to the Chicago and Detroit families that are killing Whitey for fun and profit.

Her comments are well thought out propaganda for purpose of tightening the political correctness noose around our necks. Her propagandist speech writer crafted the words in just a way so people like you could ggive them the benifit of the doubt. These people, this regime, NEVER LETS AN OPPORTUNITY GO TO WASTE.

Neither. My disdain for all things liberal are so well documented that I’ll probably be one of the first sent to the camps. The story all day is that the Mooch wants kids to rat out their parents. Using “monitor” in the headline implies monitoring for some purpose. Most Freepers are reading that way.
I respectfully disagree with the narrative. I don’t think that’s what she said. I’m positive that’s what she wants to have happen. Maybe this is a dog whistle of some kind.
