I taught yoga for 25 years and had to learn all about Hinduism. It is, basically, insane. There are some 330 millions "gods" or faces of God: people, animals, objects, you name it. Of course, Hinduism is VERY old and that is why it is so wacky. No rules that are even REMOTELY connected to these past milenia.
My husband was ABSOLUTELY sure that, in India, somewhere, someone was worshiping a '56 Chevy. He was probably correct.

While we were overseas I worked with a couple of Indians who were Catholic and we visited India for three weeks or so, just because we KNEW we would never, ever, ever visit there when we returned home.

India is a ZOO. Am I ever glad the good Lord let me be born HERE and not THERE.

My wife is very thankful she was able to come here. Wish her family could come as well. Some of the relatives cope better than others with the Hindu badgering and mail stealing.

Part of their apartment building collapsed last year (twice), which I posted about here on FR, and that added to the stress.

There were parts of India I wanted to visit, such as the Himalayan Hill Stations, but I will never make it there.
