Do you have any evidence this land is presently owned by the state of NM?
I’d wager a significant amount it’s presently BLM land.
IOW, the federal gov took it out of one pocket and put it in the other.
Wow, I’ve got a tag along. Sherman Logan needs proof that states own land, perhaps that their very purpose is to oversee the land of USA. Unlike DC which is was specifically created to give the USG/Federal an area of land to govern.
