Butler University has awarded endowed scholarships on the basis of race and gender, The College Fix has learned.
Butler removed the listing of all endowed scholarships, totaling approximately $2.4 million, from the university website before the 2013-2014 school year after inquiry from a parent of a prospective student.
The Scholarships
The race-conscious scholarships Butler has offered include scholarships that are only awarded to African-American students, an award limited to a female student of Hispanic descent, an award limited to a woman of Indian descent (unless Butler cannot find one) and an award that declares, Preference will be given to Caucasian undergraduates enrolled in the College of Business. The whites-preferred scholarship was created after the benefactors wife died in 2002, according to literature from Butlers College of Business.

The best civil disobediance I can think of in this case is for whites to mark AA on their application forms.
Then force the institution to 1)admit that they only gave the scholarship due to race 2) put forth a pigment pallet or lineage guideline that they can prove you don’t meet 3) challenge anything they come up with on #2 as being arbitrary and unequally enforced.
It’s a privilege to pay full rate.
Yes, and if you endow a scholarship for the smartest applicant, you should be rest assured that someone else didn't take it upon themselves to cast out certain people based on race.
There may be scholarships for caucasians if they are female or gay. It’s straight white males who are the whipping boy in modern society.
Right you are. The fact that VA (and Indian Health Service, for that matter) doctors are paid far less than physicians in the private sector, ensures that the VA and IHS have worse doctors, generally speaking.
I had an employee (Germanic extraction, raised but lapsed Lutheran) who, when filling out a government-mandated race questionaire, entered “Native American.”
The Personnel Department lady called and asked him why he enterd “Native American” when he was clearly ‘Caucasian” ...
she was going to change his answer ...
He replied, “I was born in Saint Louis. That makes me a native of America. Leave my damned answer alone!”
I doubt anyone is really surprised by this

I like that idea. If it was good enough for Elizabeth Warren, it’s good enough for me.
Isn’t Africa the cradle of civilization? I would guess that means all of us.
So, their endowed scholarships... aren’t?
Affirmative action on steroids.
You might want to suggest your son go to medical school overseas. If he’s Caucasian, (I assume he is), he might look into Medical Schools in South America, France (Doctors across borders). They have excellent medical schools in Cuba. Then of course, there’s Canada.
if its not reported, its not “real”; it didn’t happen.
But..But...we're a Victim Minority too!
Now where dat Free Stuff...!
Your ancestry sounds like my dad’s. Throw in Alsatian, Czech, Swiss and Cherokee from my mom’s side and you’d have mine.
You have white privilege. No more bennies for you.
I see what you did, there. And, it's not polite to brag. :-)
Further, the government has no written ‘one-drop’ criteria. What qualifies someone as AA? 100%, 50%, 25%, 5%, 1%, .01%? Or is it skin color? If its skin color, then what is that color? Let's see the color pallet that the government uses to categorize people by race, and let's see how many non-AA qualify as AA and how many AA don't qualify.
The best way of pointing out the ludicrous is to make the supporters of it define it.
I thought “white priviledge” was a problem, according to moonbat liberals, anyway.
