I think you're missing my point. Police no longer view themselves as “peace officers” but as “warriors”, and they treat the general public as “ civilians”, and often, as in this story, suspected *enemy combatants*.

Why else would they handcuff women, and point guns at kids? This is from that incident:

I try to honestly evaluate each incident. The article you linked seemed a rational analysis of a shooting. The comments did indeed show the warrior mindset.

And thanks for adding that graphic to the thread. It shows how the Aurora P D earned their SS lightning bolts and Swastika armbands.
