Three Reasons Obama might bomb Syria
Telegraph ^ | 5/19/2014 | Tom Rogan

American, British and French Intelligence services are convinced that Assad continues to use chemical weapons against his people. As I’ve previously noted, for the Obama Administration, this is a triple disaster: strategic (the Russian-brokered WMD deal has been rendered a tragic farce), political (domestic perceptions of Obama’s leadership have suffered), and humanitarian (Syrians continue to choke to death). Still, for three reasons, I believe Obama might soon enforce his ‘‘red line’’ with US military force.

1) Obama doesn’t need Congress to approve military action. Nor would America have to act alone.

Since September 2013, when Obama withdrew his Syria authorisation of force request from Congress, many have claimed that future American military action against Assad is inconceivable. The truth is quite different. While Obama would face significant criticism were he to order military action without Congressional approval, he has deliberately retained that very option. On August 31 2013, explaining his original decision to go to Congress, Obama stated ‘‘…. I believe I have the authority to carry out this military action without specific congressional authorisation…’’ It’s not just Obama’s opinion, the legal precedent for a President's authority to order limited military operations is largely uncontroversial.

Obama is also aware that the US wouldn’t have to act alone. While Britain has effectively ruled out using military force, France is doing just the opposite. Last Tuesday, declaring that Assad has used chemical weapons at least 14 times in recent months, the French foreign minister openly lamented last September's policy choices.

Last Thursday, John Kerry emphasised that there would be ‘‘consequences’’ for Assad’s continued use of WMDs. Perhaps he was laying the diplomatic foundation for military action? We already know that the CIA is increasing weapons supplies to select Syrian rebels…

2) The US Military has pre-positioned capabilities that would enable military action.......

Obama is using US military to protect the poppy fields.

Obama is protecting the Sinaloa cartels. Fast and Furious was about Holder’s ATF giving the murderous Sinaloa gangs an arsenal of weapons. Sinaloa members have testified in court they had agreement with US Federal agents to traffic drugs in the US, specifically through Chicago.

Unlike what most people think, the cartels are sophisticated. They aren’t the henchmen, kingpins, or the gangsters on the street, that go to jail. They are private bank owners, Hedge Fund Managers, business men, even national leaders, and work with Wall Street banks who are laundering $Billions, while the SEC looks the other way. They provide major funding to Washington’s influence peddling lobbists and “Think Tanks” such as Drug Policy Org.s the level of influence they have is beyond most people can even comprehend.

Benghazi was about arming Syrian rebels with $millions in cash, and weapons. The rebels are bombing the country, and have pledged allegiance to Al Qaeda a heroin cartel. Syria is a strageically located drug route, just like Ukraine.

We are a narco nation. Obama is doing the dirty work for Soros and the cartels he launders for. Australia is the only nation interceding heroin shipments. Can so many Western governments be involved?

It really seems Britain is also complicit. Putin has in own thing going on, and doesn’t seem to care as long as they don’t step into his narco turf (Ukraine). Putin has always been with Iran. South America, CA, and Mexico, are also in the pockets of various cartels. Chavez was funded by Iran. The Muslim Brotherhood are everywhere in SA, and Sinaloa are protected by Obama.

A surprisingly silent player is Israel. To me silence is complicity. I just don’t understand that dynamic, unless we are all being duped and the Israeli conflict is also a ruse? Maybe the narco trade by governments is something they just have to tolerate, but they must have some level of government involved in the narco trade, because there is just no way they don’t know about this.

Any thoughts?

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I'm depressed. The world seems much more complicated and darker that it used to be.
