While I wish Boehner would step down, I see NO fault in him appointing Gowdy as the chairman. After watching that video, I don't think this is a setup. Everyone should watch that video. When's the last time you saw a Congress critter ask the press such direct questions? Looks like someone gave Boehner some cojones. But then again, it's election year and if enough freshmen come in, he may be fearful of his position. Either way, this is going to get nasty for Dims.

Pelosi can rebell all she wants. In fact, I hope she doesn't appoint one single Dim to be on the so-called unfair committee. They want 6 to 6. When she was Speaker, just how much input did the Repubs get in the behind closed door healthcare meetings? And exactly when did she ever form a committee with same numbers of Dims and Repubs. I'm really starting to believe they are going down big time in November.
