WOW! Pam Ramos is a slave? She cannot leave Walmart and find a better paying job? I a sure Salon or Slate or The Huffington Post would be willing to pay such a great writer a hell of a lot more than $25,000 a year.
What? they are not looking for fiction writers? Damn.
My Brother in law has worked for Walmart for a long time, loves his job and makes quiet a bit more than 25,000.
So I gotta call BullChitt on Ms Ramos’ tale of woe.

In Obama’s economy, you believe people can get better jobs?
Hahahahahhahhahaha.
You’re funny.
Not that I disagree with you on your general point.

So I gotta call BullChitt on Ms Ramos tale of woe. I won't just call BS, I'll say it HAS to be BS. No doctor will tell you he "thinks" you have colon cancer after a few appointments and an x-ray. The diagnosis process takes weeks at best, and not until there has been CT and PET scans and biopsy and pathology results. Only then will they say the words. Take it from me: the patient is the last to know, and no MD or RN or radiation tech will tell you anything -- not even a theory -- until it is confirmed.
And $400 every two weeks? That makes her eligible for food stamps and medicaid and obamaphone, and everything else the fedgov has to offer.
This is not even close to a true story.

I worked for Wal Mart for 2 years, I was in sporting goods and I loved it. When I got an offer with a software company, that is when I quit. I was 26 and living at my parents house. (They were snowbirds, so they were only at the house for a month and a half.)
Ms Ramos, working at Wal Mart while I was finishing up my education... I didn't have kids then...
