I notice the author doesn't mention the 1000 or whatever it was Hindus that were burned alive by the Moslems, before the riots that killed a smaller number of Moslems.

Actually, 59 people died in a train fire after the train was attacked by a mob. As with most such incidents, it is disputed whether the fire was intentional or accidental.

In the riots that followed, 254 Hindus and somewhere between 790 and 2000+ Muslims died. With the higher number of dead Muslims likely closer to the truth, since the government in power at the time was anti-Muslim.

I'm not a fan of Islam, but let's try to stick to the actual facts, rather than hyperbolic exaggeration.
