You must not get very much snow in central Virginia. Front wheel drive is a lot easier to drive on a icy or snow packed street.

And younger FReepers have no recollection of spending hours pushing rear wheel drive cars out of snow, nor of engines that were worn out at 90,000 miles.
So I should buy a car optimized for conditions that are around less than 10% of the time? I’ll take a car optimized for the 90%. Every luxury car is rear wheel drive, now AWD REAR biased.
