Iraq is sitting upon billions of dollars of oil and can afford anything they wish. We need to become very active selling to them to recoup the money lost in that hell hole.

Israel’s pilots have trounced Syrian, Egyptian and even some Russians in the past and against newbee Iraqis, they have no chance.

I know, they will have to spend at least ~$100 billion on military equipment alone within the next decade and much more on infrastructure, technology etc. I still believe Iraqi war was not a bad idea, post-war stabilization was screwed up on mid political level (no clue how to handle all those ethnic/religious divisions over there etc.) that's why it was so long and painful. Iraqis are civilized people (by Muslim standards) they have universities, thousands miles of paved roads, international airports etc. Afghanistan is a real shithole where majority of people can't even read and any attempts to build there anything resembling modern statehood are doomed to fail. No idea why US/NATO went for full scale occupation of that strange place.
