Does Matt have a coordinator of volunteer services ?
a Contact person ?
I would be willing (at my expense ) to help if I knew who to contact , and where ?
We need change , ..and not ' same ole , same ole !'
All this "Hope and change",
has turned to "beans and franks " !!
We need something more than 'Hope ...' !!

I wish Matt luck also, but what he really needs is divine intervention.

You are right. “Luck” is a term Christians should not use. Divine intervention is needed, but I don’t believe it will be forthcoming in KY, where the status quo means everything.

Having lived in Cook County for a good chunk of life and having the good sense to relocate to KY over 15 years ago, I can say that I have seen the very same kind of machine politics at work here as I did back there.

Bevin indeed would need a divine intervention, if for nothing more - to keep the count honest - notwithstanding the amount of trashing both McConnell and the local media have done to savage Bevin for a full year and a half now.

This is how an oligarchy runs and the serfs do not care because money is worth more than principles.

The GOP loses the Senate seat to Grimes come November if Turtle does what I think he is going to do to Bevin on Tuesday.

He still gets my vote, and I write one in come November.

McConnell can pound sand. He’s worse than Obama as all traitors to a cause are.

I have always supported Bill Buckley's principle of supporting the most conservative candidate who can be elected so the idea of supporting a Democrat over a Republican is anathema to me but I am so disillusioned about Rino Republicans and Mitch McConnell in particular that I am willing to abandon that prescription at least on a limited basis to try to make a point to the establishment which controls the Republican Party and is condoning the destruction, not just of the Republican Party but of the nation itself.

My puny rebellion might be wholly insignificant as it is quite possible that the Republican Party is heading for destruction with the splintering off of the conservative base (or better yet, the expulsion of the establishment and the takeover of the party by conservatives) if the likes of Mitch McConnell persist in their sellout, especially on immigration and Obamacare.

Well said.

It looks like Bevin is toast, and if Mitch is back with the establishment Republicans in control, no matter how large the majority in the Senate, conservatives will be sold out while Mitch and crew don the kneepads for Obama.

At this point, barring Bevin being blessed with a miracle, I think the Dems taking out McConnell but losing the Senate is the best option we can hope for. I won’t go as far as to say that a Dem Senate is better than a RINO led majority, but the difference won’t be enough to matter in the long run.

Anybody who wants a Donk in the Senate in place of either McConnell or Bevin is bird-brained moron!

I won’t go as far as to say that a Dem Senate is better than a RINO led majority, but the difference won’t be enough to matter in the long run.

Not while the Regime remains in place (barring an unattainable congressional two thirds majority).

But after 2016 and a Republican President, a Republican House and Senate will be key to enacting the mandate!

Good luck Matt but you are not going to win. Send the money and support where it is really needed namely Lee Bright in South Carolina and help take out that corksucker Lindsey Graham. He still has a chance and that is really the one that counts the most.

This observation has always been true and will be in 2014 too. But KY people are among the worst of the status-quo types.
