I really believe people are more stupid than they’ve ever been, in the entire history of the world.
Illiterate 10th century peasants would drop their jaws in mind-boggled amazement at such insanity.
Think about this. Several thousand years ago (at the least) someone designed and constructed the Great Pyramid. It has stood there ever since. Nothing we build will last that long, and we don't know how they built it. We could not build it now, using the tools that we know they had.
We have created so many 'conveniences' that most of the public cannot survive with them. Many people are smart. But usually it is focused in one area.
We aren't as 'smart' as our ancient ancestors because we don't have to be smart to survive anymore.
