I have developed a very low tolerance for HR asshattery. The thing that pushed into the anti HR camp was several years ago when the company I’m with now wanted to put me on the payroll after I had been on contract. They had me submit my resume to HR for the job posting. A week later they sent me back a form letter a week later telling me that I didn’t meet the qualifications for position. Never mind that I had been doing that job as a contractor for the past two years or that I helped build the group at this company ten years ago. It took a manager a week to get the HR morons to pull their heads out of their asses.
