I work with a Chinese girl in mid 20’s that came here a few years ago for school and now works here. She has no clue about this kind of stuff. Chicoms are great at hiding it from their own.

If she is from a city, in particular one of the large coastal cities, she wouldn't likely be aware of it. Chinese cities are flooded with under-30 girls - I was in Guangzhou for business last week and the malls looked like they had been hit by a girl-tsunami. The shortages occur in the rural areas, where the sex-selection abortions are common and every girl who can flees to the nearest city to avoid ending up as a peasant farm wife.

So there may be a 100 million uneducated Chinese farmers who have no chance of getting married, but they also aren't likely to remember which end of a gun to point at the Vietnamese - so fears of a massive Chinese army of frustrated single men marching through Asia are more than a little overblown. :)

I think you over estimate the intellect and education needed to make minimality effective soldier.
