I love those kinds of lyrics.
Miranda Lambert can write great songs, and that puts her leaps and bounds ahead of most country acts, but what Nashville did in "grooming" her pop-country image is a terrible shame. I remember her singing "California" on Nashville Star -- then I listened to the horrible mess Nashville made of the song when she was signed for a record deal. Just a shame.
