A letter from Donald Sterling’s lawyer reveals that the Los Angeles Clippers owner is refusing to pay the $2.5 million fine levied against him by the NBA. USA Today reports that his attorney, Maxwell M. Blecher, wrote in a letter to the NBA that Sterling has no intention of paying the fine. Moreover, the letter argues Sterling doesn’t deserve "any punishment at all" for his racist remarks that were made public last month. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is currently working to force Sterling out of the NBA.

The real important thing about this story is: It’s not a real important story...not worthy of more than ten minutes of fame.

Sports means nothing!

It’s just another “Malaysian Airliner” decoy story used by the RATagandists to deflect attention from the myriad of RAT-scandals and ongoing investigations.

Sterling has virtually limitless resources, some of which he might allocate to investigations of other peoples’ private lives.

So Democrat Donald Sterling (D-California) doesn't want to pay a fine....nothing more fun than a Left-on-Left Civil War

He shouldn’t have to pay a dime..what someone says in the privacy of their own home, taped ILLEGALLY without their consent..cannot be used against him and it sure as hell can’t be used to take away a team that he purchased legally with his own money. If Sterling had given a press conference and said those quotes, different story, and even then he would have a right to keep his team..but he said this to his mistress, if they can do this to him they can do this to anyone who says anything the left or the media considers “Racist” or “Homophobic” or “Islamaphobic” any phobic to them and a person’s life can be destroyed

They thought this whole Sterling stuff was settled. There was a majority judgement, just like with Global Warming and Common Core.

Sterling's decision has tied the NBA management's collective jockstraps all in a knot.

You mean panties.

LeBron James is a phony POS..he said recently he didnt want any member of Sterling’s “Jewish Family” owning the team..isn’t that anti Semitic of him to say..also, its none of his damn business, he doesn’t even play on the Clippers who died and made him ruler of the NBA..LeBron should shut his trap and go back to promoting Commiecare that he loves so much

Let me get this straight...Sterling’s engaged in a private conversation that’s leaked to the public and the end result is he’s slapped with a multi-million dollar fine for what he said?

Really?

Although I disagree with what he said, I’m on his side by telling the NBA to pound sand.

Good luck NBA winning this one in a fair court!

I’m an old lady and Sterling is a yucky old man as far as I’m concerned, but he is right to fight this action by the NBA.

I find the entire situation frightening.

In additions to your good questions, why hasn’t that girlfriend ‘V’ been indicted or charged or something meaningful?

Yes, it is frightening.

It’s frightening how quick everything is escalating from even 2000 to now.

Therein lies the bottom line - a FAIR court. Too many activist judges now sitting on the bench. Yes, elections have consequences, and I have a really hard time with those who put this POS back in office in 2012.

NBA should ban thugs from playing.
If they did that they would be very few players left.

Why would they have jockstraps? They have no balls.

“The NBA will just withold it from his TV payouts. Sterling is finding out that the NBA is a lot like the federal government...”

I’m sure he could sue them for that.

Had the commissioner NOT made his statement, the players were going to boycott. THAT would have been a mess on so many different levels. Now, the playoffs will finish up, the players ( most of whom are black) believe that Sterling has their back..you have to realize..here has for decades been a lack of trust and respect between the players and David Stern..and now Silver and the league has the off season to try and come up with a solution..that will stand up in court.

the players were going to boycott.

That would last about two weeks, until they realize that fun babies and big posses cost money.
