If officer and civilian safety is a concern...

Why not wait to detain the suspect outside the home, put him in a squad car and then execute search warrant?

Too simple I guess and they don’t get to play the role of Imperial Stormtroopers.

“On April 24 investigators observed Guy remove a white bag from the trunk of the Ford and place it in the trunk of an Impala driven by a woman later identified as Whittington, the affidavit said.”
Other than this statement, all other “evidence” was the word of the informant. Why the hell didn’t they grab him when they saw the white bag? Because they wanted to play the SWAT game and kick in doors. They now have a dead cop, one wounded, and two others alive because of body armor.
I suggest a constitution amendment to do away with No Knock Warrants. Let them flush it. I want to see how someone flushes 20 pounds of grass while they knock on the door...And if they do flush it somehow, grass or coke or whatever, a lot of money is still owed to somebody. And they won’t take “I was raided” as an excuse I think.
