Wussification continues.
They already have the kids.
They can use pool noodles
Don’t they have a track and field team. How about those javelins? For that matter the discus and shot are clearly weapons as well.
My high school had a rifle team. The ROTC cadets drilled with M1 Garands. God what has happened to this country?
As long as they modify them specifically for the Michael Sam types.
Hey they might put someone’s eye out!.................
50 years of the infiltration, indoctrination, and outright dominance of the filth that is liberalism, without any sustained or demonstrable pushback from normal, decent, God-fearing people. This is nothing... it's going to get a lot worse.
What? No swords for fencing?
No Sabers either, I’d bet.
>>Theres no room for sanity or common sense. No one says, This is ridiculous. We shouldnt do it. Instead they go right back to the manual without even bothering to listen.
Worse yet, some read the rules and agree that it IS insanity, but then say, “But a rule is a rule.” These are the people who will do anything, as long as someone in authority tells them to. The group you mention are useful idiots, but the ones I’m talking about are truly dangerous.
True, but I bet the college has banned cap guns too.

A couple of weeks ago, I volunteered at my kid’s school’s track meet. I ended up working javelin. High school kid from south of the border (California - big burly farm kid) came by and told me that their school did not have javelin as it wasn’t legal in California. He wanted to know if he could try it anyway since the track meet was in Oregon. (He tried it and admitted that it’s harder than it looks)
I know that a couple of kids have been injured or killed due to carelessness on their parts or, more particularly, on the part of the coaches, etc. But that’s an administrative problem, don’t outlaw the sport. Kids have also died playing football, running cross country and track due to undetected health problems. Shouldn’t we eliminate those sports, just to be safe. Remember, no running in the hallways. Nanny state forever.
Nothin’ funner than turnin’ the children loose with a game of Jarts!
>>There’s a fair size ‘rules are rules’ crowd here on FR.
There is, but 15 years ago, it was about 98%. Today, that number has diminished way below a majority and they find themselves on defense every time they say “rules are rules”. I think that the trend here on a conservative “law and order” board is an indication that Americans are just about fed up with being shoved around by tinpot dictators and their stupid rules, whether it be the thug cop, the school official, or the petty bureaucrat.
