Didn’t he say that he does donate books to schools, though I don’t know the particulars on this. Rush is a terrific businessman, and he has a good heart and a generous spirit. Does anyone know exactly what Rush said about the books that he donates?
At the beginning of sales for Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims, he asked for on-line requests for names of schools that he thought might like copies of his book. He originally said he’d donate to a particular number only. After promo was over, he announced that ANY school name submitted to him would get a free copy of that book!
My grandson took the Rush Brave Pilgrims book to school (2nd grade), showed the class, gave a short book report on it and the kids were SO excited, the teacher asked if SHE could read the book, too! I read the book before I gave it to him for Christmas and it is excellent.
Grabs their attention, well written and the true history is presented to children in an ever so exciting manner.
I have now ordered 2 copies of the new book, Rush Revere and the Brave Patriots and one more of the Brave Pilgrims and intend to have my grandson give them to his school as a gift from him.
No Revisionist history here, folks! Congrats go to Rush.
