I read this part twice:

"According to a report drawn up by a team of academics for (then) Britain’s Information Commissioner Richard Thomas in 2006, within the next couple of years our almost every movement, purchase and communication could be monitored by a complex network of interlinking surveillance technologies (if it isn’t already)"

That was 2006.

Google and other companies have been working on this for almost a decade - at the very least.

I know so now I always comb my hair and tuck in my shirt tail and make sure I am wearing clean underwear.
I like to refer in my emails and phone calls to the perverted peeping toms that work for the NSA. Got to go someone is knocking on the door.

We all thought cells phones and the internet were so cool! And we all couldn’t wait to get the new technology.

It was reported the other day that Chicago has 24,000 cameras. If they admit to 24,000, how many do they really have? And who the hell is watching them?
