Very informative charts. Thank you. But, remember: immigrants do not necessarily remain Democrats. They are much like the mushy headed college graduate, a clueless liberal who becomes a Conservative after exposure to the real world. The Democrats understand this, so their fix is the illegal immigrant who can flood the polls with Democrat votes. No matter that they are not eligible to vote, motor voter has accounted for that. Amnesty will fix it for them long term.

2d Generation immigrants won’t fall in line with the Democrat scheme, but if they can seize power for just a generation, it won’t matter.

Most immigrants do remain Democrat over generations. In fact, the children of the predominantly Republican Cuban immigrants are becoming mostly Democrats. You must remember that 87% of the 1.1 million immigrants who enter annually are minorities as classified by the USG. It is no surprise that according to the 2012 exit polls, Asians voted 73% for Obama; Hispanics 71%, and Blacks 96%. Immigrants and minorities vote more than two to one Dem. Even religious groups like Jews vote overwhelmingly Democrat. For most people, they inherit their political leanings much like they do religion.

2d Generation immigrants won’t fall in line with the Democrat scheme, but if they can seize power for just a generation, it won’t matter.

In 1970 one in 21 in this country was foreign born; today it is one in 8, the highest in 90 years; and within a decade it will be one in 7, the highest in our history.

The nation’s immigrant population (legal and illegal) reached 40 million in 2010, the highest number in our history. The U.S. immigrant population has doubled since 1990, nearly tripled since 1980, and quadrupled since 1970, when it stood at 9.7 million. Of the 40 million immigrants in the country in 2010, 13.9 million arrived in 2000 or later making it the highest decade of immigration in American history, even though there was a net loss of jobs during the decade.

The influence of immigration on our demographics is profound. 80% of our population growth is due to immigrants and their children. By 2019 half of the children 18 and under will be minorities and by 2043 we will be a majority-minority nation.

By 2050 the demography of the US will be similar to that of CA today. CA is a solid blue state and will be for a very, very long time. States like CO, AZ, NV, VA, NC, FL, and yes, TX are turning first purple and then blue. We are being colonized by the Third World. You can't keep bringing in 1.1 million legal permanent immigrants a year along with 650,000 guest workers a year, and 500,000 or so illegal aliens annually without experiencing major demographic changes. We have had in a row three out of the 4 highest decades of legal immigration (1990, 2000, and 2010) in our history.

Even without amnesty, the Dems are destined to be the permanent majority party. They may already be when it comes to Presidential elections. Unless we reduce legal immigration, the country as we know it is finished.
