Did Paradnieks disown the sign?
I don't understand Latvian, so I don't know.
He's quoted as saying The Kremlin is full of jackals. That sort of sounds like he's saying somebody else put up the sign, but we only have the barest of details about this.
I don't know any more than anybody else, but 1) this was more like a sticker that anybody could have stuck on the gate than something that took much effort or something that absolutely had to be produced by the nursery school, and 2) what would the point be of putting up a sign like that now? It's more likely to me that it was an effort to discredit somebody than a statement the politician or the school would have made on their own. But, like I said, I don't have any more details about this than anybody else.
