Yeah but they made it international.
Some of the viets I know are just getting to understand crawfish.
But my point is they saw the potential in the bay for shrimp.
The Viets work together like Patels do with hotels
I’m ambivalent.
Locals were mad Viets got fed money to buy boats and didn’t respect normal shrimping manners and courtesy
But the early Viets were staunchly anti liberal.
And raised their kids well....
And we obviously owed some of them from the war.....
The younger Viets today are like young Cubans...they drink from the minority oppressed by white culture chalice.....damn shame
