Cops in the US have been morphing into jack-booted thugs for about the last 15-20 years. Hard to find the good old boy on the beat anymore.

I just feel sorry for the poor kid, don't give a hoot if he was drunk or stoned, but the idiot cop was in no way being threatened.

The kid did no action to deserve that, the loss of an eye for life.
