....speaking of jackbooted lowlifes, was at a stoplight this morning and looked over at an SUV that said “Police” on the side and was covered with Dept of Homeland Security seals... since when does DOHS have “police” in a central TX town?? Anyone know about DOHS Police? tia

They drive around doing random car searches, mainly looking for cash. If they find any they’ll steal it.
DHS is everywhere now. Why do they get to put ‘POLICE’ on their vehicles though? They’re not police they are FedMob agents.

FWIW, About ten years ago I was pulled over at night for a minor traffic violation in a small town in Texas. Normally no big deal. The sheriff’s deputy was wearing a hat and a windbreaker with the ‘D.E.A.’ in bright yellow reflective lettering.
While I did deserve the ticket, I was kind of irked because people in the community passing by could clearly see that I was pulled over by an official whose costume implied that it was his job to solve drug crimes.
They have an office downtown Dallas, same building as the CIA.
