Those commercials are crazy.. They never talk about the small print- any tax advantage is only good for ten years and then you and your business must bend over like the rest of the New Yorkers....

Most of these deals involve hiring a certain percentage of locals, which in some parts of NY mean having a certain percentage of your payroll occupied by unemployable gibsmedats with no job skills. Even worse, to spread the misery without the stigma of higher taxes local governments will simply crush you with “fees”.
