Remember Teddy Kennedy's terminal glioblastoma and how the media did its best to conceal that diagnosis as long as possible. Indeed, the only way to know what was going on was to read between the lines the way a knowledgeable Soviet "citizen" would read Pravada to learn what was really happening in the Soviet Union.
